In the earlier 100 posts, we brought you a wide range of creative photographs from an art fair, world music festival, painting fair, telecom expo, art museum, mobile showcase, math museum, social hackathon, bookstore, co-working space, sensorium, international design week, flower show, outdoor ads, startup roadshow, computer museum, startup T-shirts, business cards, art therapy, startup festival, Diwali rangoli, Vesak, jazz festival, modern art gallery, ecopreneurs, painter-poets, health activists, eNGOs and digital innovators.

Collaborative platform St+Art aims to democratise art and popularise it outside the usual studios and galleries. The Str+Art Festival has been held in Delhi and Hyderabad, and comes to Bengaluru this month in partnership with Srishti School Of Art, Design And Technology and BMRC.

Come see their work on display at MG Road, Cubbon Park, and Majestic Metro Stations. Co-founders Akshat Nauriyal, Arjun Bahl, Giulia Ambrogi, Hanif Kureshi and Thanish Thomas are firm believers in urban art and its power to create conversations about creativity, urban planning and social impact. A number of student artists have joined them as well for works on Church Street.

Nearby venues such as Vismaya Gallery on MG Road are also home to exhibits by painters K.A. Badiger, L.S. Kali, A.M. Naganuri and Ranji David. Their works cover a wide range, such as traditional themes, nature, urban development and freedom of expression. The festival season this time clearly seems to have a bountiful crop of artistic delights as well!
