YourStory is hiring a Video Editor with strong motion graphics skills for the video team. We are looking for an editor who can use their artistic and creative skill sets to create exciting and innovative video content for YourStory.

We are looking for a candidate with a minimum of 2 - 5 years of experience who is a team player, a self-starter, and proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects, with expertise in working with MOGRTs. This role is based in Bangalore, and the candidate should be willing to work out of office 5 days a week. The position begins with a 3-month probation period (contract basis), after which it will transition into a full-time role based on performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Edit and produce reels from Interview (Podcast) videos and other event content.

Create motion graphics and visual effects to enhance video storytelling.

Collaborate with the team to generate shorts and clips for YouTube and other platforms.

Adapt and optimize content for social media platforms like Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.

Maintain a high standard of quality while working with tight deadlines.

Work closely with the content and strategy teams to ensure consistency in messaging and branding.

Required Skills:

Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.

Expertise in motion graphics using tools like Adobe After Effects.

Strong understanding of social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube) and video content best practices.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with quick turnaround times.

Creative mindset with strong attention to detail and storytelling skills.

Familiarity with basic color correction and sound editing techniques.

Qualifications:

2-5 years of professional experience in video editing and motion graphics.

Experience in creating social media content, particularly reels or short-form videos.

A portfolio showcasing your work in motion graphics and video editing is required.
