This role is responsible for all aspects of “Brand Solutions” work delivered by YourStory. This includes client specific campaigns / events & the flagship events directly organized by YourStory.
This role takes ownership for planning & seamless delivery of all programs and also partners closely with Sales in conceptualizing various solutions.
The role reports to the ‘Business Lead/Director’ and manages a team of 2-4 experienced professionals.
Responsibilities of the Brand Solutions team – which will be managed by the incumbent
Conceptualise and executing client-sponsored events, ensuring audience acquisitions
Manage Your Story flagship events such as TechSparks, etc.
Manage other deliverables including: websites/microsites, managing contests and awards programs, managing social media groups, and writing + producing white papers and research reports
Support Sales team with content for large proposals as well as for content and video ideas for a variety of briefs, ranging from simple story ideas to large briefs that span a range of deliverables across several months.
Profile / Experience:
Experience in working in the digital media space
Experience in conceptualising creative strategies across formats
Experience in client servicing, proactive client relationship management and handling escalations
A track record of having delivered large impact campaigns across various digital formats (display, text, video, others) for blue-chip clients
A strong grasp of English, both written and spoken
The ability and agility to switch between tasks and priorities without losing focus or speed
The ability to meet deadlines while delivering high-quality output
Good Excel and PowerPoint skills for reporting back to clients on campaigns
Attention to detail - in everything
The ability to up-sell to existing clients
Good to have:
At least 8-10 years of work experience in a related field
An understanding of what technology clients require vis-a-vis the start-up ecosystem
Experience in working with video and leveraging social media to maximise active engagement
The ability to deal with cross-functional stakeholders (Design, Social Media, Marketing, Events, Video) and work with them to deliver quality work on time.
The ability to work in a structured manner as the team scales by depending equally on processes and on people
Team management experience and the ability to guide younger members of the team to work autonomously
Experience in having organized and executed events
Understanding of the display ads space
Keep abreast of developments and trends in digital marketing and organic content
