Max Guise is Bitcoin Products Lead at Block, leading the development of the company’s recently announced multi-signature self-custody bitcoin wallet Bitkey and its mining efforts. Before assuming his leadership role working on the hardware wallet, Max was the Hardware Security Lead, where he built and led product security and security engineering teams responsible for protecting a wide range of Square products and shipping critical components that powered many different levels of Square's technology stack.
