Chinese phone maker OnePlus offers Re 1 mystery boxes

After a slew of offers by various e-commerce players, mobile phone makers are rolling out various kinds of deals and discounts on their e-commerce platforms this Diwali season.

Today,Chinese phone maker OnePlus announced its Diwali Dash Sale on its e-commerce platform, oneplusstore.in. The sale will run between October 24 and October 26, with ‘mystery boxes’ for Re 1 on offer. The flash sales will be conducted at 4pm, 6pm, and 8pm IST on all three days. Users need to register on the platform for the Diwali Dash Sale before the dates.

What’s in the mystery boxes?

The contents will be revealed only after the packages have been opened. The surprise gifts range from OnePlus 3 smartphones to accessories. Every OnePlus account is eligible for a single mystery box only.

Other Chinese players

Xiaomi has announced Diwali deals and discounts on products between October 17 and 19.

Besides offering many freebies on every purchase, the phone maker will offer a Re 1 flash sale. The sale starts on October 17 at 2 pm, and will offer the Redmi 3S Prime and the Mi Bluetooth speaker for Re 1. On October 18, the 16GB Redmi Note 3 and 20,000 mAh power bank will go on sale for a rupee, and finally, on October 19, the Mi 4 and Mi Band 2 will be available at Re 1.

Another phone maker, LeEco, is holding the 'LeMall for All' sale between October 18 and 20, during which the company will offer discounts and deals on smartphones, TVs, and accessories.
