Subrat is a serial entrepreneur. He earlier co-founded Zootout Advertising. He also had stints as product manager at Jabong and IndiaMart while Ajay has over five years experience across startups like Monster, iimjobs, Freekaamaal.com among others. Nishant is an alumnus of Amity University and has earlier served with 10times and Headstrong. Before they launched this analytics suite, the trio had been trying to figure out how they could help a YouTube channel owner or brand that was spending money to promote videos organically.

“After many experiments with our early beta customers, we realized that different set of customers have different types of demands,” says Subrat. For instance, a content creatorwants to maximize subscriberbase and earn more revenue while a brand wants to reach out to the right audience on YouTube platform; an audience that resonates with its brand. Similarly a multi-channel network wants to partner with the right content creator for its networks.

After doing pilots with a few early customers, the trio finalized the model thatwas working best for their customers andlaunched the public beta of its analytics suite a few months back. The Noida based company also provides CMS platform to multi channel networks to manage moreYouTube channels at a single place. “By using our CMS, they can also access analytics of each channels at a single place, they don't need to login each channel to check analytics and hence it saves their time and also helps them to become more productive,” Subrat explains.

Since its beta launch, more than 10,000 YouTube channel owners are using Vidooly’s free analytics suite to track and analyse their channels everyday. At present, 600 plus YouTube channels owners are using Vidooly’s dashboard to grow on YouTube.“We have more than 50 plus individual paying customers worldwide, few of them are very popular YouTube channels in India such as Comedy One, Suresh Menon, Bollywood Bakda , Indian Food Network etc. We are also helping three big MCNs (multi-channel networks) in India to grow by providing them with our intelligence analytics solutions,” says Subrat.

Vidooly is using Google's BigQuery for Big data analytics. Everyday it’s tracking more than 12 lakhYouTube channels, which include some of the most popular ones, globally. “One can imagine the volume of data points every video and channel could produce on a daily basis. I think it’s all about your scalability and how you optimize it,” says Subrat.

Products like Tubular labs and VidIQ (in US) help businesses to optimize their reach with actionable data but Vidooly caters to its customers with better intelligent product features and pricing. “We plan to serve a million plus YotTube channel owners in the next three years. So, we are building that level of scalable product which can self serve,” adds Subrat.
