Krishnan, Chairman, Expert Committee on Logistics, Madras Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI).Knowledge – What is the business that you want to enter, what are the pros and cons, and what are the possibilities of success?
  • Skill – Having attained the knowledge, you need skill to manoeuvre the vision into a practical and successful business organisation.
  • Dedication – Having started, dedication is about not saying die and giving up.

All these three are the vital elements to ensure success in your venture, says Krishnan, who is also partner in S. Natesa Iyer & Co., a third-generation business, started in 1919, and operating in the domain of shipping clearing and forwarding.

About Krishnan

Jayaraman Krishnan, an MA in English from Madras Christian College, holds IATA diploma on basic/ advanced cargo and transportation of dangerous goods. Currently on the board of advisors of Air Cargo Agents Association of India (ACAAI), he was also a past president of the association. Krishnan’s other roles include the following: Member, Customs Advisory Committee, Chennai; Trustee, Chennai Port Trust; Member-Advisory Committee, Ennore Port; and Member, Working Group on Air Cargo under the Ministry of Civil Aviation.
