Take a Tour of Myntra- The 'Fabulous Startup Workplace'

It is not every day that you come across a workplace which you look at with envy. So was the case when we visited Myntra as a part of our 'Fabulous Startup Workplace' series; we were cast under the spell and Myntra had us under its mantra for sure. And to top of the plush office interiors and a canteen which would be anyone’s delight, we visited Myntra during their ‘Happy Hours’. Yes, you heard us right! There is a Happy (go lucky) Hour every month at Myntra.

What is it?

All the employees get an hour off to bring out the shopaholic in them. 25% discount on everything on Myntra! This is one hour where this fabulous workplace becomes even more fab. “I shopped for more than 10 thousand rupees!” confesses one of the employee in the video (the highest was INR 30,000 by a male employee!)

Ashutosh Lawania, Cofounder & Head- Sales & Marketing at Myntra takes YS TV host Sarah Bass through the workplace to showcase the best areas and different departments which helps this organization deliver more than 8,000 shipments every day! With a very open culture, Myntra doesn't encourage a hierarchy in terms of work structure and hence doesn't have any cubicles too. The pillars in the office remind every individual of the 10 core values like 'Customer Wow' & 'Pursuit of Excellence' which are deep rooted in the heart of the company.

Brian A, Manager, Corporate Communication was humble enough to escort us for our tour to the office told that even while hiring they look for more lively & energetic people in order to maintain a such enthusiastic atmosphere in the workplace. We were also given a guided tour of the warehouse where more than 300 people work to ensure that the right item is delivered to the right person at the earliest! One of the senior most employee & warehouse head, Mr Rajesh introduced us to the functioning of this area.

On the top floor of the office, there's a cafeteria serving free food to all the employees & a nice gym to keep their body in rhythm with the mind!
